I wipe my tears, put on a smile and push forward .

Thats my life at times.

You never know whats going on in another persons life.

Everybody has a story.

Don’t get caught up in what you see on the outside, looks can be deceiving.

The last 8 months of my life has been a series of ups and downs, it’s been a while since I last posted.

But through all of it, through all the tears, He was with me. He gave me the strength to push forward, to put a smile on my face and to know that He is there.

God has showed me his faithfulness over and over and I can’t even explain it enough.

My husband was out of work for about 5 months. We remained patient and waited for God to move, waited for Him to provide the job he wanted for my husband. He gave my husband discernment about different jobs he was offered and what choice he should make. We made it through those long months on just 1 income. We only made it because of God. Through everything He provided for our every need. Our bills were paid, our children never went without, we made it. And to top it off I was blessed with a promotion at work.

Spiritually I’m not where I want to be, but I think alot of people can probably say the same thing. I know sometimes as Christians we get caught in the mentality that we have to be perfect to display that we are indeed true Christians, followers.

I’ll be the first to say I make mistakes, I make alot of them. I make choices I immediately regret, I wish I wouldn’t have said something or did something. I hurt people, I make bad decisions, or I do nothing at all.

But I have to remember that only Jesus himself was perfect and my job is to love others and to tell people about Him.

I bring myself to Him, bare my soul and ask Him to remove my sin and shame. God is love. The enemy makes you feel guilty, dirty, shameful, low. Jesus came to give life in abundance, love, freedom, hope, deliverance.

Look at yourself, look at your situation. Nothing is beyond saving, nothing is beyond the help of God. He parted oceans, how much more do you think He can do for you?

I love the scripture that speaks of the sparrows. Now I’m paraphrasing, “you see the birds in the sky? Does the father not provide for them, they have food. Now how much more do you think your father in heaven loves you? He will provide for you even more.” I like to think about that and then I’m just like in awe of the Father. It’s so true though. If you surrender it all to Him, he will provide.

Jehovah Jireh, My Provider!

I just want to close out in my usual way, in prayer…

Lord I thank you for all you have done for me, I thank you for meeting my every need. I pray that more people would come to know you. I pray deeper relationships would root in you. I pray for families and marriages that are founded in you. I continue to pray for an uprising in the church. I pray that your name would be proclaimed across the world. I pray for the missionaries all over who are risking their lives to show your love an spread your word. I ask for protection over the heart of your people, that they would not be swayed or misguided. I pray for our leaders, that those in power would come to know you and do your will for our country. I thank you for your son you sent to die for us all. Thank you for washing me clean. Amen.

I wanted to share this song, I have listened to it alot the past few months, it has been my anthem.

25Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns—and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his lifespan? Luke 12:25-27

Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 7:11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
